The Medicine Wheel tools and interventions grew out of work in the Elsipogtog First Nation School and the Eastern Door Diagnostic Center of the
Elsipogtog Health and Wellness Center.
The Medicine Wheel Difference Game Cards are used in Elsipogtog for screening, referral, goal setting, and problem-solving. They are used with families and youth as one aspect of a broader family support program at the Eastern Door Centre. The Centre works with pregnant women and girls, and the mothers of youth who go through the diagnostic clinic.
